Near Pigeon Forge is a place called The Wilderness at the Smokies. If you are looking for a beautiful hotel, an indoor waterpark for the summer or winter, and a perfect place for your family to spend some time together, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! Inside the temperature stays the same regardless of the temperature outside. Cold or Hot, it is perfect inside. Outside (during the summer) you have even more options of "fun". With the options of slides, wave pools, fake surfing, lazy rivers, kid areas, basketball, and more, you are not going to get bored. At least, we didn't!
The lazy river was the favorite all around.
We spent 1.5 hours at one time in the lazy river.
Mady did slide down a medium water slide by herself. She loved the baby slide. She got brave and started going on her belly.
After the water park, we headed over to Crossville for our 2nd night. It was so serene! The girls loved the playground.
