First 6 weeks, accomplished!

My first 6 weeks:
finished, complete, accomplished, aced, over with, unbelievable

I just finished my first 6 weeks of school!
GO ME!

Yes, I Aced both of them! Oral communications was my favorite. I didn't think I would like speaking in front of others. Me shy? I know you don't believe me but really I am. I don't like talking to more than like 4 people at a time. All eyes staring. AHH. I'd rather jump rope and I hate jump rope! According to my four grades.. and my math savy husband, my average is a 103. Yes! Anyways, I loved that class.. the people in it, the speeches we gave, the things we learned about each other, and my teacher. SHE was wonderful. My 8:30 class rocked! As for career development, hum. The teacher (who was actually the husband of my oral com. teacher that I loved) was, well, interesting. He was the complete opposite of his wife though. Mono toned, steady, but what he was teaching was true. As a person, I did like him. I took something away from that class every day! I used what I was taught.. at home with my husband, who thought it was very humorous every time I would say "in my career development class I learned you are supposed to blah blah this or that" It is my new way of getting what I want.. per say.

The class did change my way of thinking. It is not about thinking positive (which is how we are always taught) It is about believeing positive (which is kind of common sense). There is a difference though. You may be thinking, well duh.. or maybe you think you do believe positive but really you probably don't. For example: in stead of saying I know I can pass with Honors or I know I will pass with Honors. You must say: After I graduate with Honors or I am passing with Honors (even if you actually are not at the time) You must speak in present and not future but place your future as your present. Make sense? It is not I know I can.. It is more of.. I already have. Once you place your future as your present, you will accomplish. I could actually go on about this but it would take, well, 6 weeks of readying..   :) It was a good class though. I learned!
oh yea, I Aced it as well!

Here is another great thing about these past 6 weeks. I....made...friends..... yay!  Really, I did! There is Kiara, she and I connected the first few days. That girl is not only sweet but so mature and caring. At only the age of 23, you wouldn't guess! Sad news, she has the opposite schedule as me next semester. We don't even go on the same says. THAT SUCKS! Good news, I didn't just make one friend. Another girl, Jasmine. She is going into Dental also soooooo.... next semester, we have the same classes at the same time on the same days! WOOHOO. Im excited!

Most of our class.. missing about 6 people

:::sadness:::  I'm going to miss her!

Next semester:
Medical Terminology
Medical Law
Psychology

Oh buddy! I have a hard semester coming up. Medical Term.. (career development:) Acing!  .. on a more nervous note: my weakness is spelling and definitions. What is Medical Term? yea, spelling and definitions. So if things are misspelled on here, it is the spell checks fault, not mine! Then there is Medical Law, which according to to other students is "difficult" "one of the hardest classes" "tons of work". Again, I am Acing! As for Psychology, Im excited. So as you can see, I will be busy and nervous for my first 12 weeks of hard classes since 2004. (Say a little prayer for me)

For this week, I have off school. I will be cleaning, organizing, and getting my life ready to focus on Mom, Wife, Student.. That is the order of importance. Wife and Student switching in some ways.. Wish me luck!

I found this and have decided it will be the first thing I hang up in MY dental cubical, if that is what they are called.. Area? Space? Room?  It makes me smile!
