Barn Yard Crafts

After our amazing tortilla soup dinner.. (check out that blog for the amazing recipe and other recipes) Madyson and I decided to make some barn yard animals. We got into the craft closet and pulled it all out. Next we made a mess. A LARGE MESS..

Paper bags, stickers, and glue. Look what animals we made..

A laugh out loud

Last night I was cooking my famous scampi talipia while Chica sat at the dining room table. She was just talking away about this and that. Then she looked at me and asked

"Mommy what are you doing?"
Me- making daddy an appetizer
Mady- "I had an appletizer yesterday. It was just apple juice but it was my appletizer"

BAHAHA I laughed out loud...



Also, at bedtime.. She wanted me to blow her 2 kisses. I did. She caught them. She put them on her chest. then said,

They make my hawt (heart) super happy..

**She makes my heart supper happy**

Oh summer days.. Oh summer days.. I LOVE SUMMER

Yes, it is the middle of winter.. smack dab in the middle of winter we have a summer day. A beautiful summer day.. ok maybe not a summer day. more like a spring day but it doesn't matter. The sun was out and we were happy.

Today I was supposed to clean, do laundry, read up on more school stuff.. pretty much today was supposed to be productive since tomorrow starts my work week. Well needless to say. It WAS productive. I took Chica outside, we rode bikes, we traces shadows with chalk, we danced, we sang, we played with a ball, we played in the truck bed, we jumped off walls and steps. Yes, today was productive.

Riding the 4wheeler down the drive way. It was fun to her the first time..

After that she just like to send it down the driveway alone.

Then she decided to make her shadow dance! I loved this!

After skipping around in the driveway. She had an idea..

M- Momm, I have a gwate idea!! I can jump weally high in the sky

Then she decided the wall would make her go higher

Time for some hopscotch. Over and over and over again. She is pretty good at it too.  

 Her favorite part of this summer day was playing in Daddy's truck. Dancing, singing, jumping, just simply being so darn cute! Thank you to Daddy, for having a cool truck to play in!

Our summer day ended with some sun in our hair, a refreshed soul, and tons of laughter.
