April 2012.. ALREADY?

 

Time does not fly.. at least not this year, Time moves at the speed of sound. It has gone so fast that I was sitting, thinking, getting nervous, about black ice this winter. Yes, I spend my time worrying about things like black ice. Anyways, I then realized that winter is over. NO ICE. sad in a way when you think about the snow we had the year before but no ice is good with me! So April, here we are.. lets see what we have going on..

1- prayer request. I have a silent pray request for strength. Please add this request in your prayers tonight, tomorrow morning, and anytime else that you pray.

2- my iPhone has taken over my photography skills. This. Is. Not. Good! My camera and I have been mia.. until Sunday, I will not resort to the iphone for Easter pictures.. I promise

3- simply said, I love instagram and drawsomething. If you use either of these, leave your name for me to find you

4- I AM ON SPRING BREAK. Yes, I just yelled that at you. BE HAPPY FOR ME.. because, according to my teacher (who I have for 2 classes next quarter) the next quarter is going to be the hardest we have seen. Considering that she was blown away we are all taking 3 certin classes all at the same time. The look on her face was enough to make me poke out my lip in sadness. Really, I poked it out. Next quarter is 4 days a week. Dental Science 2 (I loved dental science 1 so this should continue to be great..hard, but great) Dental materials. and Dental charting and ?? yes, I forgot the name of that last class..

5- I must stop hitting the buy now button on Groupon and LivingSocial

6- Less than 100 days until Hawaii

7- working out is going great. Eating is going (boring) just kidding. I have found a wonderful almond crusted chicken finger dish. (just almonds, garlic, chicken, egg whites) and, I am still stuffing my face with foods I don’t like. Tonight's face stuffer was peas. sweet peas NOT CANNED.. I hate peas. I really hate peas. I can not force canned peas.

8- April first was the mark of me not drinking alcohol. OMG. this is until Hawaii. On the occasional girls night, wine will be allowed but not beer or :::tear:::  margaritas.. :::tear:::

9- my dreams for the month of march have included my sister’s eye falling out, my birth control (it is in my upper arm) getting moved to my lower arm by my wrist, the usually gum stuck to teeth, and buying a house with a pool that wasn’t ours on land that wasn’t ours with people I went to church with over 10 years ago. So, lets hope for the peaceful or no dream nights I have always had.

10- chica is amazing. and beautiful. and smart. and funny

p.s. my new me is going good, hard but good. It is hard to change your ways that you have been use to for all of the life you can remember. (maybe not all of my life but at least the past 10 years) … I am enjoying the attention of my thoughts and time on the things and people that deserve me.
