Cute as a BUG

I am not really a trick or treat kind of girl. There is something about going to the door of a unknown person and knocking and getting candy. PLUS I don't really like much candy but, I LOVE HALLOWEEN. Back in the day you could go to church functions or trick or treat. NOW, it is totally different. There is parties, truck or treat, still church functions, the aquarium, the nature center, and the famous BOO IN THE ZOO. Although, all the above sounded amazing, it was Boo in the Zoo that we decided to go to. I mean, who better to celebrate a holiday of costumes than with the animals.

Mady, myself, Kristen, and Pax were going to be the ones going. Then at last min Zak and Sonja both decided they wanted to join in. The more the better easier. From Games to candy to people dressed up. This was one of the best nights of my year! Who knew?!

This is my "BEE"-utiful little girl bumble-bee! She was so excited to be a Bee because she wanted "to 'ting people" She even had beautiful wings that attached along with the pompom antennas.
Earlier in the day she was at her Aunt Daris' house and they must have played hard because before we even got down the street, she was out. She NEVER falls asleep in the car!
Oh how I loved little miss lady bug! Pax and Mady looked so cute next to each other in their costumes!
 CUTE AS A BUG!

I just love the picture below! She was a little scared to stand by it but when I told her it wouldn't move or make noise, she was fine.
I wish I had a haystack Frankenstein in my yard! This thing was HUGE! I loved how they both sat on his feet!

I love Sonja! She makes me laugh!
Madyson HAD to go check out every blowup decor there was!

I love the pictures below!

Then it was GAME TIME!
She loved the duck game! After almost falling face first in the "pond" because she had to have the duck that was in the middle of the "pond" she decided a close duck would be better.

This is her winning duck!
So we are standing there looking at all the games and she is staring down the ponies. She looks up at me and says..
Mady: "Mommy... can I ride on the pony?"
Me: "Sure you can"
Mady: "Will Daddy hold me though"
Me: "Of course he will"

Right after the above picture, she decided that she did not want Dad's help. She wanted to do it all by herself! She LOVED it so much and afterwards was soooo proud and excited! So was I!!!

This was by far her favorite thing at Boo in the Zoo. I think whenever there is a Pony to ride, we will be in line waiting!

I LOVE the monkey part. They were so cute just sitting there looking at all the kids in costumes! I wonder what they thought!
She would not give a hug to any of the dressed up people. Only a high five. She wasn't even interested in much of the candy either. Now Pax... SHE LOVED THE COSTUMED PEOPLE

She was so excited to see Dora. This is the biggest smile of the night! Other than the pony!

After a family photo and another duck game,
it was time to go home.

When we got home she found a pile of leaves to throw in the air and then they got stuck in her hair! Silly little bee!

Our day ended with a dirty face, sticky fingers,
and a tired little bee!
