It is the little things that a 3 year old loves

Backward, turn backward, O Time, in your flight
make me a child again just for to-night! ~Elizabeth Akers Allen

There is somthing about Halloween that make you feel like a child again. It could be the costumes, the candy, or the fun. Neverless, it is wonderful pretending you are 12 years old and enjoying all the Halloween entertainment. This year, Kristen hosted a "Little girls Halloween craft party". This party was for Mady and Pax and then us 5 big girls. I am pretty sure we enjoyed it more than the little ones did. Maybe we can have a craft party every Holiday.

Of course you must have food at any party. We decided to let the little girls make the cupcakes. From begining to end. They did a GREAT job and didn't make too much of a mess.
Before we put it in the oven it looked like a crazy mess. We were unsure of how they would come out but regardless they were going to be good! Little did we know that they would come out looking like perfection! OMG DID THE LOOK GOOD!!
 OMG DID THEY TASTE GOOD!!
We started the night with coloring. What girl doesn't love to color REGADLESS of age! We all colored witch and frankenstien mask!
This one was Madyson's (I helped a little)
This one was Paxston's
Ryan and Krsiten coloring theirs
Lauren and her pink witch hair
This one is mine! Madyson LOVED it!
I can't blame her, it is pretty good!
And let the crafts continue!
Kristen made a real cute pumpkin
A bat out of hands
Spooky houses out of rice crispy treats

A spider web out of popcycle sticks
Although crafts are so much fun and food is so good, it is the little things, like frosting on your lips, that a 3 year old will enjoy.

It was a wonderful night, with wonderful people, great crafts and  yummy food! Can't wait until Thanksgivings craft party!

Friendship isn't a big thing - it's a million little things.

Our day ended with a little spider on our head
and sweets in our tummies!
