Baking? Heck, why not!

I am not a baker. I am a cook. I am a crock pot cook. I am not a baker. On this day though, I baked. See I never was much of a cook because the oven and I do NOT get along. I do my part right.. I put it all together, the over... it does not do it's part. I mean, if I can put the food together, then in the pan, then set the temp, then in the oven.. You would think.. I think it should bake without burning. Ok, so I might walk away and forget the timer but HELLO even when I am in the kitchen with the timer, it still burns. So I might decide to cook it a little extra because I have no idea what it is supposed to look like when it is done, but HELLO the ovens job is to cook therefore I THINK it should know how to cook. Just saying..

Back to baking on this day. I did it! I was practicing these adorable cake and Brownie pops from bakerella. I love them. At least the look of them so, I gave it a shot because I was planning on making them for my sister in laws bachlorette party.. (which by the way they did not turn out for the party)

Of course we had to mix the Brownie pack first.

The brown cupcake looking this above is an actual Brownie pop maker. Hobby Lobby actually has an entire section for these pops. Go check it out!! The hearts are cooking cutters that you can put in the oven.

Next you need sprinkles and meltable chocolate that hardens.
Place the pop sticks (also at Hobby Lobby) into the choco and put into the pop. This will harden and then hold the pop onto the stick.

Dip half or top or entire thing in the melted choco. Then into the sprinkles.

For my first ones they do not look too bad. I would use a different choco and I would use different sprinkles but like I said.. NOT TOO BAD. They tasted good too. For today, I was a baker!
