really my list goes on. If I had a monthly to-do list, It would be a 100 pages of detailed blah blah blah.. and I would have marked off everything so far (except return ATT equipment.. I must remember to do that this week) This week being the busy yet.. but at the end of the week, it is the housewarming party.. I am so excited to show everyone our new house. It is so pretty and inviting. I never had parties at my old house.. this people.. is about to change!

Zak has been wonderful I must add. A super help, he handled ALL the closing on new house stuff. He handled all the moving stuff.. (I handle the unpacking) He has been so calm and collective.. I have one amazing husband. I do have to add this; I have been very calm during all this as well. No stress. I am not even stressed or worried about selling our old house. It will happen.. God’s got it.. Ali’s got it (our relator) We are in our beautiful home as happy as can be.. THAT is all that matters..

Thank you to everyone that has helped with anything and everything the past 2 months! Yall are awesome and I love each of you very much..

p.s. If you don’t know, Florida is WINNING .. every game.. including that they beat LSU.. yep!  Go Gators!

p.s.s. I have yet to unpack a box (somewhere in the garage) with my cord to upload pictures.. My iPhone is/has been.. out of storage.. I have video and pics to show.. NOW if only I could find that box.. and the box with my passwords for paying bills.. I am sure these people want their money at some point. Does anyone want to help unpack, or loan me a cord, or even pay my bills?? Ok, how about just the help unpack part. I hate hanging clothes.. I have a few boxes of clothes to be washed and or hung.

what a boring quarter it is.

Booo on school this quarter!

First class, word documents.. it wouldn’t be so bad if we were handed a paper and told to create it. BUT NO.. it has to be difficult and pointless. I can create a paper that is given to me. No problem.. but the program we use (yes, a program.. the teacher does.. well.. nothing but walk around and help us if we need it.. but the program shows us how so.. I don’t know) Anyways.. the program we use.. it is sooo specific on how things must be done. For example:

Center the text in paragraph 2.  EASY.. highlight the paragraph and click the little center button on the toolbar.. Right? NO.. no way.  place cursor in front of the first text, right click, select all, right click again, hit center..

The thing is, if you do it “wrong” it wont let you continue.. you HAVE to do it that way.. and on the test, it takes points off.. Place graphic above first paragraph. Size graphic. Now move graphic to .5 on the horizontal line and 1.5 on the vertical.. INCORRECT.. that is all I ever see.. INCORRECT.. ugh.. I get frustrated.. why is it wrong.. OH because it is on the .6 horizontal line.. You get my point.. it is a long long 2 hour class..

Followed by… a long two hour TYPING class.. you know.. that same class you took in middle school.. aaa asa sas ssa sss ;;; ;l; l;l ll; lll   THAT class.. Each chapter having a timed writing at the end of it. Telling you what you should type.. wpm 16.. MY words per min.. 88

yea, I should have tested out of that class. What a waste of time, money, finger movement.. on the other hand.. it’s an easy A

Last class, office procedures.. Today was good though, (I like the teacher) we talked about resumes and interviews. It was very helpful knowing what to put on and leave off. The teacher is actually the career development teacher {this being her first time teaching office procedures} so the class is turning into a office procedure career development hybrid class. There are only 4 other students in the class and it too is two hours long sooo.. it gets boring But at least it is boring stuff that is going to honestly help me in the long run.

We are a quarter ways into this quarter.. I am hoping it goes by super fast. Then on to MATH and ENGLISH.. yipee.. I miss my dental teachers.. the dental lab.. dental science classes.. hands on learning. (and I don’t mean hands on keyboards)

“Real” best friend

 

Mady is doing wonderful in school. In face she got her progress report today. (The first one she has even got) I am proud to say that she has a S+ for listening and not talking while others talk.. Considering she doesn’t talk much (except to a select few of us) I had nothing to doubt BUT I always got letters worse than S for that category. It was not a surprise for me to bring home a N or a U .. I am just happy to see her not following in her mother’s footsteps. Anyways.. like I said.. she is doing wonderful is school. Like most Moms, I love to hear about her day. What the letter of the week is, what bible story they learned, did they sing any songs.. and so on.. My favorite thing to hear about is her “best friend”

I wish more than anything I could be a fly on the wall while she is with her best friend. E just happen to be in her dance class as well as her school class. From day one, they have hit it off. Both girls being shy, quite, great listeners, follow directions perfectly, and all the other good things that every mom wishes and hopes their child to be in school. I am happy she found a friend that is just like her and they can be “good” girls together.

Anyways.. they have such adult conversations though. I just wish I could listen in. Like when Mady missed dance class E said she missed her and where was she. Then Mady told her she was taking a break from dance for a while. E told her that her mom was a nurse, then asked chica what I did. Chica said I went to school. Tonight I was told about a girl club they have. Not only do they have a password (that happens to be their names and some other random names) but they have a handshake. Chica tells me.. (with a giggle) The other girls.. Maddie and Sydney don’t understand it but we get it. Then she showed me the handshake. Is my child really old enough to have a friendship with a secret handshake? Goodness, she was two just yesterday. She has formed she a wonderful bond with E.. IF I decide to switch her schools next year it will be one of the hardest things to do. I know she will make other friends, I know she will be fine, but do pull my sweet 5 year old away from her sweet 5 year old friend.. it will break my heart..

So yea, she is growing up. Bringing home progress reports, making up secret handshakes, doing all that stuff that big kids do. :::tear:::

If you have a little one, hug them a little closer tonight.. play just 10 extra minutes in the morning.. before you know it, your little one will have a “real” best friend soon.

To US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes, indeed.. we are now the blessed homeowners of 2 houses.. Now, time to tell the current one and be back to homeowners of just 1 house.

God is amazing. Exactly 1 month ago we looked at the house for the first time. It was a super fast closing and everything went smooth for the most part.

My husband is amazing let me add. He did 90% of this on his own. It was difficult for me to step back and let him have all the control of such a huge decision BUT, I did it. It felt amazing. I am proud of him for every bit of everything he did, said, went through, accomplished, dealt with, and provided! Again, my husband is an amazing man.

So, Sunday is moving day.. I cant wait to be with Mady and Zak in this new perfect house.

 

Side note.. I found out a few hours ago that school actually starts back tomorrow. NOT next week like I thought/planned. So, I guess I need to get my binder and such ready.
